I can't get enough shorts! Summer is so fun in shorts! I picked up a pair of these cutie Michael Kors shorts while we were in Florida. Mine are grey and I love them.

Bloggy Woggy

Hello out there in blog land. I am still not very good at this. I hear thunder rolling in. Demanding thunder. Storms this year are furious. So, I went on vacation (much needed) and I am home refreshed and rejuvinated. I know that is spelled wrong. Also, I have a clear vision of the baby blanket pattern I have chosen for a new Californian, coming next month. Blue or pink?

Destin Florida is a wonderful place to R-E-L-A-X. And nap. ZZZZ.....

This was my schedule: wake up, coffee, toast, fruit, beach, book on the beach, nap on the beach, swim in the surf, second nap on the beach, dinner, play with nephew, and repeat. 

I'm back to work and smiling!

Snowy Day Home

I woke up with Norah Jones in my head. Shoot the moon that is.

"When the snows come rollin' through, rollin' to some new love." 

I suppose it's true that winter seems just terrible until it's on its way out. 20 inches of snow in one week. I put in a lot of hours with my sweat pants this week. Finished crocheting a blanket. Ate my share of carbs for the whole year. Taxes are ready to go to print. My closet is about to get a much needed overhaul.

My new love is the spring air. I can't wait to feel it coming in. I have big plans for this spring. Bike riding. Bright clothes. Bathe in the sun on a beach in a big floppy hat. Make some lists.
